[Annaleigh Lynch]

Anna was sitting outside of the Community Centre. Glancing at her phone for the time, she wondered how long it would take for Lucinda to come. She’d been told that she would come over to see her ten minutes ago, and she hadn’t seen Lucinda for a few days. It was time to get her clone back into her, Anna always felt a lot weaker when she and Lucinda were apart for a while. She never asked what Lucinda did, she was there when Lucinda needed her, and Lucinda was there when Annaleigh needed her. But apart from that, Lucy could have gone around the world naked and Anna wouldn’t know it.

But today she really really wanted to see her sister and pull her back in. She felt weak and tired. She had tried to sleep but couldn’t. She didn’t know why, just couldn’t fall asleep. So she’d painted a lot, which she often did when she was exhausted. Sitting there she continued to get more and more frustrated at the time. It seemed as if she would be waiting there for hours until Lucy came around. Typical. She always did this, and right now, Anna wondered why she was surprised. She definitely shouldn’t be, leaving for days on end, never coming home for ages, and when she finally got her back to the house, Lucy would usually always take forever to do stupid little things.

It was annoying. Lucinda of course was there when Anna needed her the most, she’d always help her sister if she needed it (which Anna did when the clone first split from her, as she couldn’t really control it yet, all she knew was that when she got upset, Lucy came out and helped her before going off and partying).

[Alice Clark]

Alice strolled down the street, tapping on her phone. She was smiling to herself at a text she had just received from her sister, she hit her keys and responded to it. Alice pushed a strand of hair out of her face and glanced up as she slipped her phone into her pocket. She was approached the community centre. She hated walking past there, there was always a yob standing outside, lingering. Some tried to talk to her, others just glared.

Alice continued walking though. She was on her way back from meeting a friend who lived near by, otherwise Alice wouldn’t of been in the area at all. She felt rather out of place there. She pulled her coat a little tighter round her, it was getting a little chilly and windy.

Alice could see the community centre coming into view. She got her phone out of her pocket and started to mess around with it again. If she just kept her eyes down then no one would bother her, hopefully. She glanced up from her phone, there appeared to be no one there, then Alice spotted a girl. The girl didn’t look like a typical ASBO though. Perhaps she was just waiting for someone. However Alice just carried on texting on her phone. In fact, she got so engrossed by her phone that she didn’t take notice on where she was walking. Minutes later she came colliding with the girl who she saw stood outside the community centre. Alice’s phone tumbled out of her hands, before she could say anything Alice panicked and froze her phone, in mid fall. Alice quickly bent down slightly and snatched the phone from mid-air, she glanced up at the girl, praying it had all happened too quick for the girl to notice. "Erm… sorry" Alice mumbled, her voice shaken, worried incase the girl had seen Alice using her power.

[Annaleigh Lynch]

Anna stood there, sighing as she continuously checked her phone for the time, every few seconds. Time was going painstakingly slow, or maybe Annaleigh was just incredibly impatient. Sighing she stuffed her phone back into her pocket just as someone bumped into her. She gasped and went to apologise just as she saw the girl’s phone freeze in mid air. Did she just? Anna had heard whispers of others who could do odd things after that strange storm, but she’d never seen it for herself. Well, until now. Pressing her lips together she smiled lightly, pretending she hadn’t seen it. “It’s alright, you ok? I probably should have been out of the way or something.” She mumbled, not looking at the girl.

She couldn’t lie and say she hadn’t seen it, because…well Annaleigh was one of the worst liars ever. Pushing her hair back she looked up at the girl. “Uhm, are you wanting to go in or something? Am I in the uhm, in the way?” She mumbled trying her hardest not to look at the girl for too long, trying her hardest to ignore what she had seen. This could get worse than she thought. Of course, she couldn’t exactly just come out with “Hi, yeah I saw that but it’s fine because I’ve got one of those freaky powers too and now a clone version of me is out there somewhere partying her ass off trying to have a good time.” she would sound completely crazy.

She knew that she looked horrible too, she felt tired and weak because of being separate from her sister for so long. Anna knew that as soon as she saw Lucy she’d pull her back in and then head straight for bed. She needed sleep soon. That would take a while though. Pushing her hair back again she smiled at the girl lightly, a slightly hesitant smile, but a smile non the less.

[Alice Clark]

Alice quickly checked it phone, it was unharmed. After all it didn’t hit the floor thanks to Alice‘s stupidness. She gave the girl a small smile as she slipped her phone into her bag. It would be safer there, plus it would prevent any more freezing incidents. "Yeah, I‘m fine" Alice nodded her head, "I should have been paying more attention to where I was walking… like I said, sorry" Alice looked down at her feet, she was panicking.

The girl appeared to of seen nothing. Alice cursed to herself in her head for being silly. She should of just let the phone fall, she could of got herself a new one. Perhaps the girl had seen but wasn’t saying anything about it. Or the girl could have some sort of ability herself, Alice knew there were more people out there with powers. A normal person would of freaked if they’d of seen something like that, so if this girl had seen what Alice did then she has some kind of power too. At least that’s what Alice thought. Plus it made her less worry, the fact Anna hadn’t freaked out

Alice looked inside the community centre. It looked dark inside. She then looked back at Anna and shook her head, "Just passing by" She replied with yet another small smile. Alice assumed the girl was waiting for someone, or waiting for her probation worker maybe. "Infact, do you know what bus I can get towards Belsize Park?" Alice asked. The girl seemed like a nice enough girl, no attitude. After all, she could of easily hit Alice or something for walking into her. Alice thought that’s what people in the East of London do, they all have attitude and are hard-faced. Sadly, she stereotyped the East, like most people did. Just like the West of London is stereotyped as being wealth and full of rich people. However the North and South had no labelled attached to it.

Pushing her hair back, Annaleigh smiled lightly and tried not to look suspicious of anything. Shifting uncomfortably she glanced up. “It’s ok, people go into day dreams and stuff.” Looking around after a while, Annaleigh pulled her own phone out of her pocket, texting Lucinda again, now extremely anxious for her sister to get here. She wasn’t exactly very confident talking to another person who wasn’t her own family, and even then she didn’t exactly talk well to her family either.

Biting her lip, she listened to the girls question and frowned looking around. “Uhm, no I don’t think I know that sorry.” Anna didn’t usually hang around here, Lucy did, but…well that was different to her. Though they came from the same person, Lucinda took everything that Annaleigh wasn’t and became her own person.

Before Annaleigh could say anything, she heard a laughter coming from a voice that sounded almost exactly like her, turning around, her clone/sister came waltzing over. She laughed. “Anna! Hey! I meant over there, I’ve been waiting for about an hour, you fucking ditz.” She laughed and looked at the girl with Anna. “Who’s the chick?” She asked slowly.

Blushing slightly, Anna smiled apologetically at the girl in front of her, she slowly looked over at Lucinda. “Lucy, you’ve been out for three days, and you told me the community centre, this is the community centre.” Anna said in a more quiet manner, it was obvious the differences between the two.

Lucinda looked over at the girl. “You trying to hit on her? Don’t bother, I don’t think she’s ever been fucked in her life, or that she goes that way either.” Lucy laughed and nudged Anna as Anna blushed deeply. “I’m joking, well half joking. Don’t be so serious cloney.”

[Alice Clark]

Alice was definitely a day-dreamer. She could spend hours just day-dreaming sometimes, it a way of escaping from reality. Though her reality wasn’t too bad. Stable family, at university doing the course she wants, so all in all Alice’s life was comfortable. She watched as Anna got her phone out.

"It‘s fine, I‘m sure I‘ll find my way home" Alice responded with a smile. After all London was a pretty small place, everything was near everything. She knew if she just walked to the nearest tube station she’d find a tube to Belsize Park, with a few changes here and there. That’s what Alice liked about London, it was easy to get places. Though she didn’t love public transport, she’d much rather walk. Alice then heard the laughter too, which caused her to turn her head slightly. She saw a girl approaching them, she was the split of Anna. Alice was taken back slightly about how casually this girl used the word ‘fuck’, words like that just didn’t enter Alice’s vocabulary, unless she was extremely angry then she may curse. Still Alice gave the girl a small smile, though she seem pretty intimidating, so she thought it was best not to talk.

Alice glanced down at her feet as both the girls talked. They seem to be having a bit of a debate about something. Though she wasn’t looking at them, Alice was still listening. Just as she was about to leave she noticed the intimidating girl had spoken to her. She frowned slightly, she was most certainly not hitting on Anna, Alice was 100% straight. She shook her head, " I don‘t swing that way either" Alice stated, "I accidentally bumped into your sister, then I was just asking for directions, that’s all" She paused, "Anyway, I‘ll leave you to it. Thanks anyway" Alice was saying thanks to Anna. She quickly looked between the two of the them, before turning to leave.
