Power:

Anthropomorphism. Basically, Adonis was born as an african hunting dog. Before the Storm hit, he was the dominant dog in the pack residing at London zoo. The power of the storm gifted him with a human form. His human form has better eyesight, stronger muscles and improved agility than a natural human, all aspects which had bled through from his own natural form. Also, in human form, Adonis retains the ability to control the other members of the pack which live in the zoo still, as he always had managed to do before, despite them still being in dog form.

During heightened emotion, his form will shift slightly (such as in a fight, when he's angry). His canines will extend, and nails will grow into claws, and his speed, agility and strengh will increase until it's equal to that of a hunter. More often than not, Adonis will find it easier to move on four legs rather than two, especially when he's chasing after someone - in a style similar to the speed-runners which play in the city. But he cannot revert fully back to his natural form - he doesn't know how.

Power/Personality Relation:

Adonis, despite being the dominant dog, was always a curious creature. Each day, after checking on all the other members of his pack, he would take to prowling around the edges of their enclosure, both checking for intruders and simply watching the humans. Even in his animal-mind, he had a strong interest in the humans, and probably even wondered what it would be like to be one, at some point.

His looks also match up in both forms. As a dog - Adonis is rather small, but with long limbs and coiled muscles, and blonde-brown, two tone hair. It's the same with his human form. As a human, he'd beneath average height for a male, but his limbs are long, and his body is packed full of coiled strengh. His hair is also two tone. In both forms, as well, his eyes are a clear, piercing blue.

Personality:

Adonis is a very masculine person. He doesn't take threats lightly, and is more than confident in swaggering around, showing off his strengh and pushing others out of the scene. Making other's submit is his way of making sure that they would not be a threat to him, or to his pack which he still feels responsible for. He is intelligent, but not in an academic way. He's illiterate, and sometimes finds it hard to follow fast speech, seeing as technically, he is still learning the human language. But he can plan things, and his mind is sharp, and he notices things - whether sights or simply smells.

He is rather paranoid, and is never one to let his guard down. He likes to feel in control, and isn't one to submit to someone else, unless they beat him in a fight. And submitting to someone else, in his language, means giving control over to them completely. He also has no qualms about killing someone else - because he can.

Adonis is naturally also a social creature. He was born and raised in a pack, around others, and being alone is not something he takes to well. And yet being around humans, despite the fact that he is now one, also leaves him feeling paranoid and slightly afraid. Those he claims as part of his pack, however, if any human ever manage that, he will protect and defend and watch out for, because that's what he does. He can also be quiet, and oddly, rather cute, almost puppy like if he finds something enjoyable to play with. His mind is still that of an animal, after all.

History:

Adonis' history isn't that interesting. He was born in captivity as part of a breeding program, and was moved to London Zoo when he was shortly out of pup-hood. The pack in the zoo is small, and rather select, in his eyes. And despite being young, he was strong, and the natural order of the pack meant he was quickly established as the alpha dog. And so he remained that way for several years (even though, the dogs don't actually have any way of telling the time, other than light, feeding time, human's coming time, and then night).

When the storm hit, he was the only dog out in the open part of the enclosure. The other's were all huddled together, seeing as they had all sensed the oncomming storm, but due to his nature, Adonis was still the one to go out and investigate. Lightning struck the enclosure before he had time to react, running along the metal bars and climaxing in gathering around him - strong enough to send him flying against one wall, and knocking him out.He came to later, surrounded by his pack, and human.

That was how the zoo keepers found him later - naked and curled up on the ground in his enclosure, with the other dogs huddling against him, naked and confused. They took him out, thinking him to simply have been drunk and broken in. They clothed him, and sent the confused now-human on his way. And he wandered around London, terrified, and bemused, all day. Until night fell again, and he heard the cries from his pack, and headed back there, this time breaking into the zoo to check on them. That's where he's been spending each night since the storm.
