Power: Persuasion. Clarke was arrested for dealing, and his usual tricks for getting off were not working on this tough detective. He felt his control, his variable small suburban monopoly slipping away. They were walking him to the cop car for a hearing when the storm hit. He took the oppertunity to bolt. He got struck by lightening while running and while on the ground the cops caught up to him. He said "Come on! I just got hit by fookin' lightening! You know you should let me go... See the hospital or something..." he said and to his suprised he was uncuffed. He found if he asks someone to do something, they do it. He can also drop hints and plant seeds in people's heads. It works over the phone and webcam. However, it can fade off quicker through those meduims. It lasts about three days. It doesn't work on animals or people who do not speak his language. As a result of this he took to learning french. He's not so good at it. He is suprisingly moral with his powers. He uses them for his buisness, but has yet to make a girl sleep with him. Talking into a free simple flat, however was not above him.

Power/Personality Relation: Clarke has a fear of loosing authority and of not being in control. It is not only necessary for his buisness, but he has always been one in control. He is a manipulator and a suave guy. He rarely has friends. He has people he uses. Clarke is a leader, through and through. However, he always had to struggle for the power he got and thirsted for more. He was terrfied of loosing his sway over people.

Personality: Clarke grew up in a chav part of the estate. He as a result, hates 'cheap' things and people calling him a Chav. He goes out of his way to impress people. He always had people use him for drugs. Clarke learned early on if you can use them, don't abuse them. He became a smooth talker, slick, sly a don quan, a con man and a artist at truth bending and lies. He is great with words, getting mildly impressive marks at school.

His father was a drug dealer but got arrested. He's simply following the family tradition. He is also decent on guitar, lazily studying french and a great cook. He is suprisingly devout in his respect for woman due to his close bond with his mother and sisters. He has only had three girlfriends and contrary to the image he puts on, he is a virgin. He's a professional a buisness man and a logical thinker through and through.

He feels neglected a lot. He needed attention. Clarke also thrives off of being in control. He feels friends will always betray you and you need leverage in every situtation. In his mind, always have a plan C and blackmail material. Being very good at using people and having a plan has helped him get sucessful. Clarke knows deep down one day he will have to let his walls down. It will just take some proving to in order for him to do so. Once his alliagence is won, he is loyal untill the end.

History:
Clarke was born into a poor neighborhood. At school instantly he was grouped with the Chavs. He even kind of talked like these dirty, hand me down dressed kids. He promised himself he'd do better no matter the cost. His father was a well known drug dealer, The Raven. Duing a sting, he got put away. Then the oldest of Clarke's three sisters took the breadwinning pill and coke pushing position. She was Swan. Life was good for about three years. Untill she was shot and killed during a deal gone awry, resulting in a drive by a few days later. With her, was the youngest sister Kassie. She was shot in the face and disfigured horribly when part of her lower jar was blown off.

With medical bills and mouths to feed, Clarke took the family trade using the name Sky Lark. Though young he had a mind for buisness and was raking in more cash than ever. He had the life going for him. Money, drugs...but he wasn't happy. Constant plans and a uncanny ability to talk people into things took most of his time. Heck, he even layed off drugs a few days a week to make sure he was level headed. He dropped out.

Then, he got arrested for possesion with intent to deal. That's when the strom thing happened and he was landed with this power. His drug ring has tripled in size and he moved his family into a nicer flat. Plastic surgery for Kassie almost returned her to normal. Now, he's a little bored. He has all of his heart's desires and deepest wishes...but what's missing? Right now Clarke is at a self exploring and slightly micheavious place in his life.
