Alexis forms an alternate dimension and often slips into it to get away from the stress around her. When she walks into this world, her body goes as well, and she appears to 'vanish' almost instantly. In this dimension, everything is in shades of gray. However, those that travel into this dimension keep their general hues. There seems to be little definition between the earth and the sky, and orientation is subject to interpretation at best. For the most part the 'ground' proves to be a shade darker than the 'sky', but in some instances, this is reversed.

What appears to be a large black sea can always be seen in the distance, yet no matter how far one walks, he or she cannot get to it. There appears to be no sun or moon, yet there appears to be light coming from different objects in this reality. One such object is a large glowing lighthouse that also remains in the distance and can never be reached. Another object that produces light is a large crack of white light that appears in the opposite direction of the lighthouse and the sea. It is unknown what lies beyond this crack, yet Alexis herself believes that there is simply 'nothing' beyond.

Within the world of sorts, there appears many large, broken toys and frozen clocks. There are a few floating doors that seem to reside high in the sky, yet it is unknown what lies beyond those doors.

Alexis herself can slip into this dimension with ease and often does so. However, taking others into this dimension proves to be a challenge. As the number of people grow, Alexis finds the strain on her own mind grows, and she has been known to pass out several times while transporting people to and from the dimension which causes the dimension to fold and causes people to instantly be kicked out of it.

Personality:
Reclusive and generally quiet, Alexis finds it hard to even speak in front of one person let alone a group or a crowd. She gets nervous extremely easily and is prone to panicking when confronted by people. Her back up plan is generally simple: run away from all confrontation. This she does by either literally running away or invoking her dimensional void and running away from the world completely. She is never one to confront someone over anything and generally tries to bear burdens all on her own without having to deal with or worry others.

Despite this, when alone or with someone she trusts, Lexis does tend to come out of her shell more. When she does talk, she speaks in a quiet, short manner and mostly tries to make things appear as though she is alright in the world even if she isn't. She has an extremely hard time letting others in and prefers to keep them at a distance.

Alexis thinks deeply about those around her and tries to take things apart and make sense of them in her mind. She very rarely sees the whole picture of something and mostly focuses on minor details rather than overall concepts. She is often overly critical of details within the boundaries of her mind but rarely states these things outright.

One of Alexis's favorite things to do is draw and work in black and white paint. This is possibly why her dimension is colored the way it is, but it's all up to speculation. Alexis can be seen sitting in odd positions in different areas with a large sketchbook in hand and working on a picture. However, when others try and look at her pictures, Alexis gets rather jumpy and will often try and hide her sketchbook or run away with it.

On the subject of dreams, Alexis wishes to one day be a doctor but doubts that she will ever have the people kills that are required for this job. Therefore, she resolves to think about being a full artist instead. She has a bit of confidence in her art and wishes to see herself succeed in it. (However, even in this, she fears that the professional art critics would tear her apart and therefore is unsure if she even wants this).

History:
Alexis was originally born in Nevada in the United States and grew up there for a good portion of her childhood. Her father worked in engineering while her mother had decided to simply stay at home and raise her. They lived rather comfortably and didn't seem to have any sort of major issues in the house. A year after Alexis was born, her mother gave birth to a young healthy baby boy later named Thomas who would later become extremely outgoing and rather popular among anyone he met.

Even as a very young child, Alexis grew up quiet and a loaner by nature. Around the house, she did what she could to avoid her parents and her younger sibling as much as possible and kept to herself in all instances. She rarely showed any sort of happiness even when her mother did everything she could to try and bring a smile onto the girl's face. Doctors were asked to look at her, yet they found nothing physically wrong with her. However, from then on, Alexis mentally feared doctors in generally and would find herself skittish when they were mentioned in any way.

In school, she didn't make friends easily due to her quiet nature and reclusive qualities. However, Annabell, a rather outgoing girl in her elementary school, managed to prod Alexis out of her hole so to speak for a good few years. They became close friends, and Alexis found herself able to open up to Anna more than she had been able to anyone else.

Due to some minor inspiration from an elementary school art teacher, Alexis began to draw and found she had somewhat of a talent for it. Her parents seemed to relish and encourage the young girl to pursue this artistic side of herself to which she found herself a tad unnerved by but also a tad happy with.

At the end of Alex's eighth year of school, Alexis's father found that his work was pushing him to move to England, and with that, the family moved to London. Alexis found herself even more reclusive than before in a foreign area and surrounded by foreign things. The family moved into a new house, and even that seemed to greatly unnerve Alexis. She kept to herself even when enrolled in a new school and tended to focus as much as she could on drawing, the one thing that had remained the same as far as she was concerned.

When the lightning storm hit, Alexis found herself under the desk in her room clinging to her sketchbook and wondering why they had even come to England. When it finally ended, she found herself in a completely different world. It was... peaceful... and familiar somehow. She felt comfortable in the world and began to find the courage to explore it. Wandering around the world, she found that it was her own.... Wondering how to leave, she instantly found herself back in the regular world again. She found herself afraid yet curious at the same time. After that, she began to start moving between the dimensions more and more finding solace in her own little world.
