Joey was going for a run. He was bored. It had only been a few days since he had discovered his immortality, and a few days since his 19th birthday as well. He was 19, but he thought it would be good to try and figure out what to do now, since his life had changed. Discovering you are immortal is not an easy thing to do. It can drastically change a persons life. Joey put his black hoodie on, and kept the hood down. He looked out and sighed. He went out of his apartment, locking it behind him. He had to figure out what to do now. He decided to go for that run.
Joey started running down the estate, wondering if he could survive a shot to the head. If he could, then that would be a huge relieve. He had been researching immortals, and he had learned most immortals can die from a head wound. If he figured out if he was able to come back from a head shot. He passed the community centre, and smiled at all the fond memories he had of here. He had spent countless nights here when his dad had locked him out of the house. He sighed again.

Gravity, don't mean too much to me [glow=Orange,1,400]Is this our destiny?[/glow]
This world is after me, after you. (OOC; sorry for short reply) Iona clicked the center button on her blackberry, glanced at it then put it in her pocket. She then took the phone back out and checked the time, as she hadn't done that the first time. She was walking along, towards the Cathederal, where, after meeting Evan, she had gone to for peace and quiet. The place calmed her, and with her quick temper, she often went there. She understood why she had gotten Aquakinesis, she was an Olympic swimmer after all. She hugged her Jack Wills jumper tighter to her skin, shoving in her earphones. Iona liked a wide variety of music, just about anything, apart from Country. At the moment, Coldplay's 'Viva la Vida' was ringing through her ears. Her gaze was cast downwards, absentmindedly counting the steps in her head. Singing softly along to the words. She didn't expect, though, to bump into a solid object. Quickly pulling out her earphones, which blared out music, she widened her grey eyes. Automatically, she launched into her first language, Wesh. "O, Sori! Mae'n ddrwg gennym, nid oeddwn yn gwybod ble i chi yno!" Shaking her head, she corrected herself. "Sorry, I didn't see you there," She bit her lip, as she wasn't normally that clumsy. Run away, like it was yesterday [glow=Orange,1,400]And we could run away[/glow] Run away from here [/font]

Joey had fallen back when the girl had bumped into him. He got up and said “Its fine. I just think that you should watch where you go.” His th's had not sounded properly, as he was Irish, and the Irish could not say there th's. He smiled at the girl and said “Nice to meet you. I'm Joey. Joey walker.” He looked at the girl and said “Hey, I know you. Your Iona Gethen. Your practising for the 2012 Olympics right?” He smiled at the girl, knowing who she was, cos she had been in the papers a few times.
Joey rubbed his back, wincing. He had hit the pavement pretty hard, and it had hurt. He stretched, and said “So, what brings you here?” He hadn't expected a rising star for the Olympics to come round here, to the community centre. He stretched and winced, his back still sore. He smiled at the girl again and wondered if she had been affected by the storm. A few people had been affected by it. He had for example. He had gained immortality, and he really liked being immortal. Even though he had only died once, he thought immortality was an A-listing power.

Gravity, don't mean too much to me [glow=Orange,1,400]Is this our destiny?[/glow]
This world is after me, after you. Cocking her head ever so slightly, Iona let a small smile toy at her lips. It was nice to hear a foreign accent, to know she wasn't the only one that wasn't from around her. Shaking her head stubbornly, she mimicked her earlier words. "Still, I'm so sorry," She blushed slightly, running a hand through her dark curls. She wasn't used to getting recognised, it wasn't as if she was famous or anything, she had just been in the papers a couple of times. Well, ok, more than a couple. But not hundreds of times. "Yeah, I'm Iona," She bit the inside of her lip. "Look, I'm really, really sorry. Did you hurt yourself?" She took a step forward towards him, as if to help him but she then realised there wasn't anything to help with. "Um, I was actually heading towards St. Pauls Cathederal. It's calming, y'know? But, to be honest, I don't know if I can be bothered climbing up all those stairs. I'm an athlete and all, but you get bored of your muscles aching all the time," A light chuckle rolled off of her tongue. "What about yourself, why are you aruond here then?"Run away, like it was yesterday [glow=Orange,1,400]And we could run away[/glow] Run away from here [/font]
