I'M THE NEW CANCER

She never wanted to wake up. Xandra just hated not being able to sleep, but she had to go to school right? Right. Otherwise, Ronnie might take her head off and Xandra wouldn't want that to happened because if that happened she might take his head off and that wouldn't of be good. Well, she wouldn't take his head off, she would probably just end up killing him. She had already knocked him unconscious a few times with her...power. That stupid storm. She couldn't of been left alone? She had to be outside during that moment. This sucked really. While other people kinda liked their powers, she hated hers. Psionic blast was not fun, especially when you could kill someone with it. Running a hand through her brown hair she sat up in her bed, looking at the alarm clock that was currently blaring whatever it was programmed to blare. "Shut up." She groaned, pushing the alarm clock onto the floor, causing it to stop.
"ALEX! YOU UP!?" She heard his voice call through the flat. Of course she was up if she pushed the stupid alarm clock off of the bedside table. "Yeah!" She yelled back as she tore off the blankets from her body and stood up. She had went to sleep in a pair of shorts and a tank top, and forgot to realize how freezing the air would be. Well, to her it was cold. The cold air hitting her skin, caused instant goosebumps. Xandra started pulling clothing out of her drawers. A nice gray cardigan with a striped tank top and a gray skirt with gray flats. Hell, her favorite color was probably gray, which explained the depressing wardrobe. She pulled on black stockings and started pulling on her clothing. After she was done, she walked over to her vanity, picking up the hair brush and running it through her hair a few times to get out the tangles. She put on a necklace, two bracelets and her earrings, with one last check int he mirror. She was ready to go to school. Thank god she barely wore make up. Or well none. She grabbed her books, her bag and her phone.
She started to walk out of her room and ended up running into her brother. "Hey, I'm going" She muttered as she watched him rub his temples. "Okay, be good" Was one of the only things he could say. "Don't plan on it." She shrugged, turning around and walking out into the living room, passing through and then to the front door, where she pulled it opened and closed it behind her. Xandra made her way down the steps and out to her car, which she had brought. Getting in and turning on the ignition, pulling out of the parking lot and making her way towards the university. After a few minutes she pulled up into the school parking lot and grabbed her cigarettes from her bag, walking to the side of the school and lighting one up, taking a deep drag. Now she hoped she could just relax....or not.

I was only nineteen you were twenty nine It’s just ten years but it’s such a long time In a heart beat, I would do it all again Lucinda always went and had fun when she got out. And since she only got out once every couple weeks, maybe a bit more if Annaleigh was stressed, she often went out for days on end. She did it partly to make Anna go mad, and partly because she enjoyed the time she had out and knew that if she didn’t stay out while she could, it would be a while until she came back out.
So she sat at the University, wearing something sexy and cute, something pretty tight, but she hid herself enough so that you could see all of her figure, but she wouldn’t get accused of having a too revealing outfit. Walking through the courtyard, she watched everyone around her, checking out the cute boys, winking at some of the appalled girls, with a cigarette balanced between her lips.
Unfortunately, Lucy didn’t have a lighter so the cigarette was going to stay unlit until she found a girl who was smoking. Smiling, Lucy walked over to the girl, taking the cigarette from her lips. “Hey, sorry but could I get a light? I left mine at home, and my sister would kill me if I went home just for a lighter. I haven’t been home in a while.”
Lucy giggled and bit her lip slightly nervously. Well, a fake nervousness. In reality, she only did it so that the girl wouldn’t feel too threatened. She wasn’t nervous at all. It was a ploy she did. Something she did so that people who looked a little quiet and shy they would talk to her, or that she would get something that she wanted. She was a little bit of a bitch that way, but you know, whatever she had to do to get people to do stuff for her. Lucinda licked her lips a bit. Her hair was kind of a mess, she hadn’t gone home yet so it was matted with sweat and grease, which wasn’t particularly nice, but it was fun to see how many people noticed (and on a night out on the town, not many people did). She stroked a hand through her hair and smiled, almost sweetly at the girl. She wondered what people would say if they knew that the real Lucinda, the original Lucinda, was dead. Sometimes it made her laugh. Though Lucy loved her sister, and she really did, she found it hilarious that Anna hadn’t said anything to her family about the reappearance of Lucy. To be honest, Lucy wouldn’t have either. It would make her sound mad. She really had no patience for people though. She wasn't that much of a partier because of it and she never went out because well, as explained people tended to piss her off more and more plus they didn't want to be around her when she was just handing out headaches left and right. Running a hand through her bangs with the one hand that wasn't holding the cigarette she looked at the students passing in and out of the university. She closed her eyes as she rested her back on the brick wall, taking another deep drag and holding it in then exhaling, opening her eyes for a moment to watch the cloud of smoke float up in the air. She wished she could fly, that would benefit her really. In the best way possible. She could go to a different country, do people who fly get tired of flying? She always wondered that. Though she never met anyone who could fly. She was sure one of them were out there. The storm practically had millions of freaks running around since everyone or most of the people had super powers, including herself.
Rubbing her head she heard footsteps. Usually, this would of delighted her if she was a nice person, but she had no idea why someone would be coming up to her. Did her powers die down? Was she not giving people splitting headaches by just being near them anymore? She heard someone talking and looked to her side, to see a girl with dark hair. Asking her for a lighter? Hmm, couldn't hurt to be nice once right? Nope of course not. "Uh, yeah sure." She said, digging out her own lighter from her pocket and holding it out to her. She didn't really care about her lighter that much, considering she had about two more in her bag, she always seemed to lose them no matter what.
She really wasn't paying attention to the other girl. Xandra really had no problem with her, it was a public place to smoke a cigarette. She didn't feel like striking up a conversation, she wouldn't know what to talk about. Actually, now that she thought about it. She would probably just make it awkward. Not that Alexandra enjoyed awkward situations. She just rather stay out of them.

I was only nineteen you were twenty nine It’s just ten years but it’s such a long time In a heart beat, I would do it all again Lucinda grinned and took the lighter from the girl. “Thank you.”
She said slowly before putting the cigarette between her lips again and lighting her cigarette. Lucy didn’t stay too close to the girl, but she didn’t go an uncomfortable way away. After she finished lighting her cigarette she blew smoke out and grinned, handing the girl the lighter. It felt slightly awkward at this point, the two girls, standing there smoking. It shouldn’t have been, it was something that should have been completely natural. Blowing out the smoke, Lucy looked back at the University, then back at the girl. “You study here? At the University? Or are you just hanging out?” Lucinda didn’t know what to say, she was trying to be nice and start up a conversation, but it felt really forced. Plus it was in some ways it was a pretty stupid question. It was pretty obvious that unless she was like Lucy who hadn’t gone home and was wandering aimlessly around London trying to find the next party, he would probably be here for a reason. Blowing the smoke out in front of her, Lucy smiled at the thoughts of last night. It was just a buzzing in her mind. There was nothing that she could fully remember really. There was a few guys that she could remember, a few songs…but nothing fully stuck in her mind. Why would it? She’d been drunk for most of it, and couldn’t remember anything at all. It was weirder because she was brought here just at the moment that she should be partying and stuff. Well the age. She knew her name was Lucinda, and she knew that she was Annaleigh’s sister, but she didn’t know what the real Lucinda was like and she didn’t have her memories. She had Annaleigh’s old memories, so she knew a bit about the original, and it was kinda depressing. Which was the whole reason about her going out and having a good time, she did everything that Anna wanted to, but did have the guts to. She was the more gutsy sister. And that was very fun, definitely more fun that the mopey side that Anna was.
