evanSUMMERS Emotional, Hot-Headed, Energetic
Full Name: Evan James Summers Alias: Evan Age: Nineteen Date of Birth: 16th August, 1991 Ethnicity: Caucasian - English Religion: Christian Orientation: Straight Occupation: Student
Face Claim: Lerman, Logan
Power: Evan's power is Pyrokinesis. Just concentrating on something hard enough will cause it to combust into flames, burning it to the ground. it's a dangerous power, especially seeing as when he gets angry or overly emotional he seems to lose control of his power, bursting things into flame almost randomly. It's a nightmare to him.
It also seemed that since the storm he's become immune to fire. When he realised this he tried to burn himself, and realised that though the flames burned and singed away the hairs of his arms, they did nothing to harm him, and he felt no pain from the hot tongues of the flame, despite feeling the warmth from it a little.
Exploring further with his power, he can put out flames as well - though it's a lot trickier and generally is only activated when he feels especially upset or cold towards something. Emotions effect the combustion to, with anger and excitement often causing him to set things alight. Generally, he can put smaller fires out by simply snuffing them with his fireproof hands. With bigger fires though, it's more difficult.
Unlike some other Pyrokinesis users, he can't summon fireballs and such out of nowhere, and his power could more accurately be described as 'combustion', or setting things on fire. Still, once there is a fire in place he can make it bigger or smaller (occasionally) and he can (more easily) control which way it spreads.
Power/Personality Relations:- Evan is very fiery in his personality, and angers easily.
- He likes fire a lot, and thinks it's quite beautiful. Until he realises his power, of course.
- He dislikes water strongly, and fire tends to dislike water to.
Personality: Evan can be hot headed, lets put it that way. He's angered easily, especially when people are being ignorant or stupid. He find's that sort of thing very hard to deal with, and that can often be what activates his power. When he's not angry he's great fun to have around though: excitable, interesting, always thinking of something new and fun to do, even if it's a little dangerous. He's spontaneous to, often acting without thinking and simply going ahead with whatever thoughts come to his mind. He has been diagnosed with ADHD which makes his life difficult, but it's a mild case and he makes the best of it.
Because he's so fun to be with he had a wide circle of friends, but he's not super close to any of them really, mainly because people are too scared of his temper to stick around when he gets angry. He used to get into fights a lot at school, and though he didn't really mind that in itself, he felt bad afterwards. Sometimes. Mainly if he lost.
And yet, his temper is very hard to extinguish. You'd never win an argument with Evan, because he simply doesn't back down unless he is totally and utterly destroyed by counter-arguments. He is well known to fight and fight and fight until he had won out whatever argument might be going on.
For all his bravado though, he has fears like everyone else. Evan can't swim - and he's terribly afraid of drowning. He has trouble even going in swimming pools, let alone actually swimming up and down them, or going in the sea. His worst way of dying would definitely be drowning.
Still, for all his temper he isn't all bad. He's a nice guy, and tries his best to respect people who respect him. If you treat him well, then he'll almost always treat you in the same fashion. It's only when you get to close and piss him off that you'll get burned.

History: He grew up just like any other kid really. Evan's dad is welsh and only moved to London a couple of years before he met his mother, and so they gave him a welsh name - Evan after his grandfather. When he was younger - a toddler - he spoke early and was seen by many as a very energetic little kid.
As he aged, he got into a few scrapes at nursery, biting other children and such. As he went through primary school this stopped, and although he often got in trouble for shouting and such, he was trying hard not to fight anyone, and it worked. he didn't get ticked off like he later would. It was near the end of his primary school career that he began to take up sports. He was good at many sports, but enjoyed few of them. Football, Badminton, Volleyball - he could do them all just fine, but he got bored quickly, and it was around this time that he was diagnosed with a mild case of ADHD - explaining his excitable and spontaneous behaviour, his acting without thinking.
Still, despite slight behavioural problems, he was a smart kid and did alright in classes. Though he wasn't in many of the very top classes, he was usually near enough to the top that he had never failed a subject as such - gaining the equivalent of B's most of the time, and an A every now and then.
Through secondary school his life was much the same, though he got into tennis a little more than he had with the others. He wasn't amazing, but he won more than he lost. Although he knew that he wouldn't ever be a professional tennis player or anything, he found that he enjoyed it more than he had the other sports he'd tried previously.
It was on a midsummer's day that the storm came - that was partly why it was so odd - the forecast had said the whether would be clear all day, that's why he'd headed into the park. He'd been with a group of friends at the time, sitting outside a café in greenwich. When the storm started, they rushed inside, eager to get out of the danger the storm posed as giant icy rocks hurled themselves down from the sky, knocking down trees that were a hundred years old and smashing into ponds sending murky water everywhere.
Of course, it just had to be Evan that realised he'd forgotten his jacket. Most people would have left it. It was a jacket, and didn't matter - not in the danger the storm posed. Only thing was, he didn't think like that. All he could think at that moment was that he was cold, and he wanted his jacket. So against the cries of his friends, Evan burst through the Café doors, running out to their table to grab his jacket.
Flash! The lightning shot down before he could do anything, and the world went black as Evan was shot back, flying through the air. Time seemed to slow as he felt the searing electricity pulsing and flowing through his body.
There was a loud smack as he banged his head off the glass door of the Café, his jacket clutched in his arms, breathing heavily. What had happened? He felt odd, that was for sure. Evan had stood up slowly, wobbling. Most people died from lightning didn't they? It was funny, he felt odd, but not as if he had had a near death experience.
How odd.
It didn't bother him though, and Evan shrugged off the incident, thinking nothing of it.
Little did he know, his life was soon to go up in flames..
Evan does a small college level course at uni, and that takes up quite a bit of his time.
